HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL (HSE) POLICY
N.E WILLIAMS NIGERIA LIMITED has identified Health, Safety, Security and Environment as an integral part of our core business value and processes. We are therefore committed to ensuring continual improved health and safety of our personnel and contractors, preservation of the environment, and assets. This we will achieve by;
- Ensuring we have a healthy workforce certified medically fit and sound to perform their duties while remaining secured and safe.
- Provision of adequate and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to all our personnel that require PPE to perform their job.
- Ensure all personnel have undergone requisite trainings for the jobs they are to undertak
- Regularly evaluate training needs of all personnel and ensuring all identified trainings are provided to those needing them
- Perform risk assessment for all critical operations and ensure mitigation measures are identified and put in place for safe execution.
- Hold periodic HSE meetings to address HSE issues and concerns as it affects our operations.
- Ensure wastes segregation is done by providing adequate and colour wastes bins for all identified wastes streams arising from our operations
- Assigning HSE responsibilities to all personnel as part of job description, and evaluate personnel performance annually.
- Reward HSE performance by way of awards, incentives and recognition to personnel and contractors
- Implementing scheduled maintenance of assets and equipment.
- Conduct annual internal HSE audits and Management reviews to evaluate our HSE Performance
- Complying with all laws, regulations, legislations and standards relating to our business.
